This neo-Gothic building was for more than a century the residence of the cemetery’s keepers, who for many years were successive members of the Alcaide family. Many of them have their final resting place in the Catholic section of the Cemetery. The Gatehouse currently serves as a Visitor Centre.

Esta construcción neo-gótica fue durante más de un siglo la vivienda habitual del guarda del Cementerio, que durante muchos años estuvo a cargo de la malagueña familia Alcaide. Muchos de ellos descansan en el bancal católico del camposanto. Actualmente cumple las funciones de Centro de Visitantes.
